He co-founded Renal Purinergic Club, that brings scientists in the field of purinergic signaling in the kidney on both sides of the Atlantic to a common platform and conducts Ancillary Meetings in conjunction with national conferences. During his long academic career Dr. Kishore mentored several pre-med and post-graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in Belgium and the United States, many of whom are now in high positions in medicine or healthcare, academics or industry.
